A message from Mrs Anne Curran, School Principal

Welcome to St.Paul's Community College website. I am sure you will find browsing through the site enjoyable and informative.

I must first of all say a special welcome to our new first year students. I hope that they will enjoy their years in St.Paul's, do well in their studies and go on to have happy and successful lives.

A welcome too to our P.L.C students as they embark on another phase of their education.

I wish our German and French teacher Ms. Ann Kavanagh a long and happy retirement after her years of dedicated service to the students of St.Paul's.

Last year the school was very lucky to have been granted money to make many improvements to the school building. This included a new roof, upgrade of the student toilets, computers and data- projectors in all the class rooms all of which help to improve the school environment and bring the classrooms up to 21st century standard. We have in the last few weeks started work on building our second A.S.D. class which I hope will be ready by Christmas.

The school is a busy place with so much happening all the time. My thanks to the staff for their continued commitment and dedication .Thanks also to the City of Waterford Vocational Education Committee, the Board of Management and the Parent's Council for the support, work and interest they provide to ensure St.Paul's Community College is equipped to meet the many challenges of these times.

We in St Paul's pride ourselves in the education and support provided for our students. From the Homework club, the Breakfast club, Supervised study, Home School Liaison, the Book Rental Scheme to the excellent work in the classroom the students of the school are supported and prepared to take their place in the outside world

Best Wishes to all for the year ahead

Anne Curran
