Transition Year

Transition Year is a one year programme between the end of the Junior Certificate and the start of the Leaving Certificate programme.

The main goal of our Transition Year Programme is to allow students to develop as people and to gain experience in a whole range of disciplines. It is intended that students will become more independent learners and develop study skills.

Transition Year aims to help young people prepare for adult and working life through the provision of work experience and career guidance modules.
