Farewell to Tilman

St. Paul’s Transition Year Students say “Goodbye” to Tilman Muller-Scholtz, a German student, who has been on a European exchange programme for the past 7 months. According to Ms. Reilly, Principal, this European programme is beneficial to both visiting students and our own students, creating a greater understanding of each others language and culture. St. Paul’s has hosted students from Italy, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Germany and the USA.
To celebrate this European cultural exchange, TY students of German, hosted a German themed farewell celebration for Tilman with samplings of traditional German. Students made a presentation of a signed hurley to Tilman as a memento of his visit to Waterford. Our thanks to Ms. Reilly, Principal, Mr. Bill Mullen, Year Head TY, Ms. Maeve Tobin and Ms. Noeleen Dooley, German Teacher.
